About

The Chemistry Education Study Program at the State University of Gorontalo has received an operational permit since June 11, 1987. This study program is supported by various facilities, namely lecture halls, lecturer and staff rooms, chemistry library, chemistry laboratory, and the Chemistry Student Association room. The chemistry laboratory is equipped with various tools (instruments) that support practicum and research activities.

Lecturers of the Chemistry Education Study Program consist of 18% with a chemistry education background and 82% in chemistry. They are masters and doctoral graduates from various well-known universities both at home and abroad. They carry out various activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, both organized by UNG and by Dikti. They also conduct research collaborations with domestic and foreign lecturers/researchers.

There are 324 Chemistry Department students who come from various regions in Indonesia, such as Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Kalimantan, North Maluku, Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Java, and Bali. Many Chemistry Department students receive scholarships, such as Bidik Misi scholarships, PPA (Academic Achievement Improvement), BBA-PPA, and collaboration scholarships.
